APOSTLE BARTHOLOMEW - (Sometimes spelled Nathaniel / Nathanael)
(God With Jesus Speaking To Anne Terri Through The Holy Spirit)
Anne you know very little about Apostle Bartholomew, but are more familiar with the other spelling of his name, Nathaniel or Nathanael-depending on translation- in the Gospel of John where his name appears as Nathanael- which for many scholars is controversial.
Place below, the sections within John 1 where the name Nathaniel/Nathanael is documented.
Also see were the name Bartholomew is written separately within The New Testament, within The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and Acts
You will note that in the other Gospels you have what is known as a Q situation, and in these times, it was more of a copy paste to get all the names
written down, as they first knew them. However John surnamed Mark knew both Phillip, and Nathanael well, and made certain the name of Nathanael was documented correctly when telling his story of how I met him.
Later much was added to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Many inserts and embellishments were used in all 3 Gospels to make certain they matched within The New Testament, for authorities had chosen to teach certain concepts in the early Christian Churches, many years after The Apostles had ascended.
John confused them, for his Gospel was hard to corrupt. They made a mess of this, but it also helpe God and I to show you where they erred with their inserts. John surnamed Mark knew this may happen and left many clues. See The Gospel of John for God's Guided, intensive study of what happened.'

BARTHOLOMEW
Bartholomew (Greek: Βαρθολομαῖος Bartholomaíos, Latin: Bartholomaeus) was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus. He has been identified with Nathanael (alternatively spelled Nathaniel), who appears in the Gospel according to John as being introduced to Christ by Philip (who would also become an apostle),[Jn 1:43-51] although some modern commentators reject the identification of Nathanael with Bartholomew.

SAINT BARTHOLOMEW MONASTERY
Saint Bartholomew Monastery (Armenian: Սուրբ Բարդուղիմեոսի վանք, Surb Barduğimeosi vank' ; Western Armenian: Surp Part'uğimeosi vank' ) was a medieval Armenian monastery in the historic province of Vaspurakan, 23 km north-east from the town of Başkale, in present-day Turkey's Van Province, near the Iranian border. The monastery was built on the traditional site of martyrdom of Bartholomew the Apostle, who is reputed to have brought Christianity to Armenia in the first century. Along with Thaddeus the Apostle, Bartholomew is considered the patron saint of the Armenian Apostolic Church. It was a prominent pilgrimage site prior to the Armenian Genocide. Today, it is heavily ruined and the dome entirely gone.
