1. 'Anne we have been working on my Apostle's section within Jesus of Nazareth-The Christ Within.
2. I want to make certain The Gospels are eventually color coded for Advanced Colors of The Third Testament, which will eventually include my Apostles who are close to God, who will Receive the color we have named Heavenly Lavender Blue.
3. Today, first go to The Apostle's Lists which are in each of The New Testament Gospels, these being the comparisons for order in which they were listed.
4. You know, that all are Important to me, and as I taught them, no one is more important than the other, and we are all lesser than my Father in Heaven.
5. With this in mind, I will ask of you to select with me, our next Apostle for your Studies.
6. You will then do as before with Apostle's Andrew and his Brother Simon / Peter, making the painting of the Apostle and pointing to parts in
The New Testament where they are mentioned.
7. As you do this, place in bold text those whom you have done.
8. Show not any part which is written as one of them betraying me, and hence forth an references to this will be in black text.
9. Obviously you will be linking to many sections today, which were in the old HTML Coding.
10. Do not try to recolor everything now as it will make for confusion as you are working.
11. If one has not a Gospel, you will bring forward an Apocrypha for this purpose.
12. Today I Choose Apostle John who is a Saint in Heaven.
13. For clarification he is the brother of Apostle James. Both are Saints, Son's of Zebedee and surnamed by me, Boanerges which means The sons of thunder.
14. As before link to his places as written within your Study Guides, remembering is is also Apostle John, Surnamed Mark.

ABOUT SAINT JOHN - APOSTLE OF JESUS

It is written John was the son of Zebedee and Salome. There are even claims Salome was Mary's Sister, making John and his brother James cousins of Jesus. It is not clear from The New Testament- KJV, if Salome is Mary's Sister, or even if she is John or Jame's Mother, though she is written as one of the women who went to the tomb to anoint Jesus after the Crucifixion in Mark 16:1   
John 19:25 Clears up this matter. It is important to always make comparisons between Gospels

(Matthew 27: 61) Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary

(Mark 15: 47) The other Mary becomes the Mother of Joses.

(Mark 16: 1) Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome arriving to anoint the body.

THE ANOINTING OF JESUS

There are too many different accounts of John's History, and these are based on various viewpoints. I point you to the Wikipedia selection
which is also based on this. Before you go there, I Remind you that Mary of Magdalene is not the same as Mary of Bethany, who was sister to Martha and Lazarus and was the one who followed and walked with Jesus. John showed you in his Gospel, it was Mary of Bethany who anointed Jesus.

Zebedee

Zebedee (Greek: Ζεβεδαῖος, Zebedaios, Greek word #2199 in Strong's; Hebrew: זְבַדְיָה‎, Zvad'yah, Hebrew word #2069 in Strong's Concordance), according to all four Canonical gospels, was the father of James and John, two disciples of Jesus. The gospels also suggest that he was the husband of Salome: whereas Mark 15:40 names the women present at the crucifixion as "Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome", the parallel passage in Matthew 27:56 has "Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's children." The Catholic Encyclopedia concludes that the Salome of Mark 15:40 is probably identical with the mother of the sons of Zebedee in Matthew.

Zebedee was presumably a fisherman, "probably of some means." Although named several times in the gospels, the only times he actually appears are in Matthew 4:21-22 and Mark 1:19-20, where he is left in the boat after Jesus called James and John. Mark noting that Zebedee was left with the "hired men" and Gospel of Luke 5:4 noting two boats imply the family had some wealth. Zebedee lived at or near Bethsaida.

Apostle John Mentioned in Acts

Acts 12: 1-5 King Herod kills James the brother of John with a sword. He pleases the Jews and places Peter also in Jail (Days of Unleven Bread)


1: Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
2: And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
3: And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
4: And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
5: Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Acts 12: 18 – 25 Herod commands the keepers of jail to be put to death. He is raised up by his people, claiming him to be speaking as a god, but it is said while sitting on his throne an Angel of the Lord smote him. Herod dies. Now, Barnabas, Saul, and John, surname Mark fulfill their ministry and return from Jerusalem.


18: Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.
19: And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death.
And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode.
20: And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.
21: And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
22: And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
23: And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
24: But the word of God grew and multiplied.
25: And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
