2.With several of the countries of the European Union suffering severe economic problems, and Greece near Bankruptcy, this is a necessity.
3.The European Union, originally built after World War II, with a solid base, suddenly grew too quickly, within a forty year span, to become 27 countries.
4.This created a house of cards.
5.The original five countries, allowed new applicants to join the EU, without first helping them to become solvent in their own finances, and before agreeing to and signing a constitution.
6. The European Union continued to grow quickly after the fall of The Berlin Wall and the decline of Communism in 1989.
7.By 1998, new members, were given the choice to participate in the Euro, which quickly became the chosen currency for most of them, before they were ready.
8.And during the accelerated growth of the European Union, the world economy began to fail after 911, finally falling into a severe recession in early 2009.
