2.The woman in focus is Eluana, Englaro.
3.She is no longer able to speak for herself.
4.Her body lives, but her brain is not able to promote life beyond assistance from hospital machines.
5.She's comatose and has been for 17 years.
6.President Napolitano, of Italy, upheld a decision made by the Italian High Court that they could remove her feeding tube, allowing her to die with dignity.
7.He refused to sign the decree blocking this procedure, yesterday.
