As the LORD God of Israel liveth... there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
1 Kings 17:3-7 ...turn thee eastward -hide thyself by the brook Cherith-before Jordan...

she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel- oil in a cruse
-I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
1 Kings 17:13-16 Elijah said..Fear not; go and do as thou hast said-
but make me thereof a little cake first-bring it unto me... make for thee and for thy son...
saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither-the cruse of oil fail,
until the day-the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth-
she went and did according to the saying of Elijah...
1 Kings 17:7-21...after these things- the son of the woman... fell sick-there was no breath left in him...
she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God?
art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?
...he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom....
he cried - O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow...by slaying her son...
and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
1 Kings 17:22-24 the LORD heard the voice of Elijah-the soul of the child came into him again...
Elijah took the child... and delivered him unto his mother- Elijah said, See, thy son liveth...

1 Kings 17:1-2 Elijah the Tishbite...said unto Ahab... As the LORD God of Israel liveth... there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
1: And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
2: And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
1 Kings 17:3-7 ...turn thee eastward -hide thyself by the brook Cherith-before Jordan...thou shalt drink of the brook- I have commanded the ravens to feed thee-he went and did according-the word of the LORD:...the ravens brought him bread and flesh...he drank of the brook..the brook dried up, because there had been no rain ..

1 Kings 17:8-9 ...the word of the LORD came...get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon...dwell there-I have commanded a widow woman-to sustain thee.
8: And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
9: Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
1 Kings 17:10-12 he...went to Zarephath. .came to the gate of the city...the widow woman was there gathering of sticks-he called to her-Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel-he called to her, and said, Bring me-a morsel of bread in thine hand...she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel- oil in a cruse-I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
10: So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11: And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.
12: And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

13: And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14: For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.
15: And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16: And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
1 Kings 17:7-21...after these things- the son of the woman...fell sick-there was no breath left in him...she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son? .he said unto her, Give me thy son. 18: And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay

23: And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother:
and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.
24: And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

The LORD GOD
*Elijah the Tishbite
*Ahab
Elijah (Hebrew: אֱלִיָּהוּ, Eliyahu, meaning "My God is Yahu/Jah") or Elias (/ᵻˈlaɪ.əs/; Greek: Ηλίας Elías; Syriac: ܐܸܠܝܼܵܐ Elyāe; Arabic: إلياس or إليا, Ilyās or Ilyā) was a prophet and a miracle worker who lived in the northern kingdom of Israel during the reign of Ahab (9th century BC), according to the Books of Kings in the Hebrew Bible. In 1 Kings 18, Elijah defended the worship of Yahweh over that of the Canaanite deity Baal. Yahweh also performed many miracles through Elijah, including resurrection (raising the dead), bringing fire down from the sky, and entering Heaven alive "by a whirlwind". He is also portrayed as leading a school of prophets known as "the sons of the prophets". After his death, Elisha his disciple and most devoted assistant took over his role as leader of this school. The Book of Malachi prophesies Elijah's return "before the coming of the great and terrible day of Yahweh", making him a harbinger of the Messiah and of the eschaton in various faiths that revere the Hebrew Bible. References to Elijah appear in Ecclesiasticus, the New Testament, the Mishnah and Talmud, the Quran, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and Bahá'í writings.

*GILEAD
Gilead was a mountainous region east of the Jordan River divided among the tribes of Gad and Manasseh, and situated in modern-day Jordan. It is also referred to by the Aramaic name Yegar-Sahadutha, which carries the same meaning as the Hebrew (Genesis 31:47). From its mountainous character, it is called the mount of Gilead (Genesis 31:25).
The name Gilead first appears in the biblical account of the last meeting of Jacob and Laban (Genesis 31:21-22).
It is called also the land of Gilead (Numbers 32:1, Judges 10:4) in many translations, and sometimes simply Gilead (Genesis 37:25; Judges 10:8; Psalm 60:9). As a whole, it included the tribal territories of Gad, Reuben, and the eastern half of Manasseh (Deuteronomy 3:13; Numbers 32:40). In the Book of Judges, the thirty sons of the biblical judge Jair controlled the thirty towns of Gilead (Judges 10:4), and in the First Book of Chronicles, Segub controlled twenty-three towns in Gilead (1 Chronicles 2:21-22). It was bounded on the north by Bashan, and on the south by Moab and Ammon (Genesis 31:21; Deut 3:12-17).

Cherith (Hebrew: נַחַל כְּרִית Naḥal Kərīṯ) or sometimes Chorath (/ˈkɔːrɑːθ/; from Greek: Χειμάῤῥους Χοῤῥάθ cheimárrhous Chorrháth, lit. "Wadi[1] Chorath"), is the name of a stream or wadi mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. The prophet Elijah hid himself on the banks of the Cherith and was fed by ravens during the early part of the three years' drought which he announced to King Ahab (1 Kings 17:3).
