An alarming bankruptcy, in a major country of the European Union, could affect the future of Europe, if something is not done about their economic status. Greece is not alone in their financial crisis. They suffer similar woes as Italy, and Portugal due to overspending and large deficits. The Euro is in jeopardy if this continues.
Greek Prime Minister, George Papandieou traveled to The United States of America, making it known through a speech, that he feels they are in this together. He said, referring to the problems in Greece and the stability of the European Union's monetary policies that it, 'very much involves American Interests'.
