March 11, 2010 - Apostle Sarah Faith's Question – Right Or Wrong?
I just wanted to mention something I saw on TV in the break room at work while waiting to clock in today. I saw a report on the news where banks "Bank of America" had put locks on someone's door and damaged her property for supposedly owing money. Come to find out they had made a mistake and had the wrong person. The point is wrong person or not, this is a harsh thing to do to anyone, to just go in someone's home, take things and damage property, then put up a sign saying the property is owned by the bank.
I feel its wrong to do this to someone just because they may be laid-off, or have no way to pay their debt at the time. To just take what little someone has is cruel, and I want to know what is wrong with the people that make such harsh decisions. I could never take something from someone when they are down, it just isn't right.
