' Ignorance does not mean total absence of knowledge, but it means imperfect knowledge.
A human-being (the self) being a fragment of GOD can't lack knowledge (discrimination) totally. But the human-being attaches importance to the unreal by regarding it as real. Moreover, the human-being has no disinclination for the unreal. This is ignorance.
If one makes the right use of one's knowledge (discrimination) one's ignorance will perish and discrimination will be revealed, because ignorance has no independent existence '.
