7.9 Magnitude Earthquake - Kathmandu Nepal, Near India

Today, just before noon a strong earthquake hit near the region of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal,near India

A strong magnitude-7.9 earthquake hit near Nepal's capital of Kathmandu before noon Saturday, causing extensive damage with toppled walls and collapsed buildings, officials said.

At this time, damage is heavy and I withhold any reports of causalities, for rescuers are on site doing all they can to help those in need.
Reports are coming in from many of highly populated areas of walls collapsing. Many of these structures are not able to handle this magnitude of quake.

Prayers are in the hearts of many. I Am With them.

A Second Series of Quakes - Kathmandu Nepal, Near India

Another series of quakes has just occurred in Nepal measuring 7.3 and above 5.5 on the Richter scale.
These have occurred near the Chinese border between Kathmandu and Mount Everest, in a conservation area less densely populated than where the first quake hit less than three weeks ago. There are buildings which have collapsed and the structures are unsound after the first quakes. They need help now. At this time there are four known dead, and as the rescuers are working to assist the injured I Keep watch over the people. May they all find relief, and aid from their neighbors in this time of need.
