The Effort to Save the European Union and the Euro (God Through Carlo Ferdinando and Anne Terri)
1. Today, the attempts to clean up the Belgium coast, after a storm blew in from England, means moving mountains of sand.
2. One can not build a strong house upon sand.
3. There are 27 countries, known as the sovereign Member States of the European Union.
4. This Union grew quickly from the original 6, without a firm foundation.
5. There should have been a constitution in place before the 6 added more to the count, for later there were great difficulties with their voting process, towards the ratification of any proposed part of the constitution.
6. Many issues placed before the 27 Member States, were voted down, for several countries always voted against the proposals.
7. Not all of the 27 countries are using the Euro as their monetary form of exchange, which also makes for a shaky foundation.
8. Now, with the severe financial situation in the world, and the Euro in danger, the concession is to form a treaty agreement between the countries who are willing to come together.
9. At this time, there are 26 who intend to save the Euro, and to firmly establish Europe.
10. Do not forget the house of sand.
11. There is 1 who will not be participating.
