The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered between 1947 and 1956, in the Judean Desert. Muhammed edh-Dhib and his cousin discovered the caves where the scrolls had been hidden for over 2,000 years. Much research has been done by experts, with more information to yet be revealed.
These are the oldest copies which have survived of Biblical documents, as well as those not included within The Holy Bible. The Dead Sea Scrolls are in three languages. Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The links to The Israel Museum of Jerusalem are below.
