DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE GOSPELS
Pilate's Wife warns Pilate, due to her dream (Matthew 27: 19)
This is not in Mark or Luke or John
THE STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Jesus carried his cross through the streets of Jerusalem.
Did Jesus make 12 stations of the cross?

(Matthew 27: 32) (Mark 15:21) Simon of Cyrene compelled to carry cross for Jesus.
(Mark 15:21)]Added to this is that Simon of Cyrene is father of Alexander and Rufus.
(Luke 23: 26) Simon a Cyrenian laid hold of to carry the cross.
(Matthew 27:34) At place called Golgotha, Jesus offered a drink of vinegar mixed with gall
(Mark 15: 23) At place called Golgotha, Jesus offered a drink of wine and myrrh
(John 19: 17)17: And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
Dialog Of Jesus During Journey To Calvary
The Daughters of Jerusalem appears in, Luke 23: 27-31; this dialog isn't in Matthew or Mark, or John.
Luke 23: 27-31 The Daughters of Jerusalem – ''Weep not for me....''
27: And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.
28: But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29: For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
30: Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.
31: For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
JESUS ON CROSS
The Place of Crucifixion is named as Calvary (Luke 23:33)
Written on top of the Cross: King Of The Jews (Matthew 27: 37) (Mark 15: 26) (Luke 23:38)
Jesus of Nazareth The King Of The Jews (John 19:19-22)
Something New in John 19, is the dialog between Pilate and Chief Priests on what is to be written on top of cross.
John 19:17-22 The Place and the words on the Cross, written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin
17: And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesusin the midst.
19: And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
20: This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
21: Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.
22: Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.
JESUS IS MOCKED WHILE ON THE CROSS
(Matthew 27: 40-43; 49) (Mark 15: 29-32) (Luke 23: 35-37)
THE TWO THIEVES
Two thieves mentioned next to Jesus on cross: (Matthew 27: 38) (Mark 15: 27)
And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. (Luke 23:32)
Jesus forgave the one thief. (Luke 23: 39-43)
(John 19: 18)
18: Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
THE WOMEN WITNESSES AT THE CRUCIFIXION
Many Women-Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, the mother of Zebedee's children (Matthew 27: 55-56)
Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome. (Mark 15:40)
''And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.'' (Luke 23:49)
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. (John 19:25)
IT IS WRITTEN - JESUS SPEAKS ON THE CROSS
'' My God My God, why hast thou forsaken me? / Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?''(Aramaic) (Matthew 27: 46) (Mark 15:34)
''Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.'' (Luke 23:34)
And Jesus said unto him, ''Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.'' (Luke 23: 43)
'' Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit'' (Luke 23:46)
Woman, behold thy son. Behold thy mother!
I thirst. (John 19:26;27;28)
WITNESSES AT THE CROSS
John 19:25-30(Jesus' Family and Disciple John – Witnesses At The Cross)
25: Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.
26: When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!
27: Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.
28: After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29: Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30: When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar,
he said, It is finished:
and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
GAMBLING FOR JESUS' ROBES AT THE BASE OF THE CROSS
Matthew 27:35 Jesus is Crucified ... they cast lots for Jesus' Garments.
35: And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Mark 15:24 Casting Lots
24: And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
Luke 23: 34-38 Jesus Speaks From The Cross – He is mocked – They make The Crucifixion Fit The Prophecies
34:Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
John 19: 23-24 (The Soldiers Gamble For Jesus' Garments Fitting The Prophecy)
23: Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
24: They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.
Psalm 22: 16-18. Casting Lots To Fulfill Prophecy of The Old Testament and Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Also in Matt 27:46, Mark 15:34 and John 19:23-24

THE DARKNESS AND THE EARTHQUAKE
The sky darkened. (Matthew 27: 45)
Darkness for 3 hours from 6th to 9th (Mark 15:33) and (Luke 23: 44-45)
The Jew's Temple was destroyed.(Matthew 27: 51) (Mark 15:38) (Luke 23:45)
No earthquake mentioned (Luke 23:45)
THE CENTURION
The centurion and others witnessed the earthquake and miracles (Matthew 27: 54)
The centurion is mentioned but no other witnesses nor an earthquake noted.
He says, ''Truly this man was the son of God.(Mark 15: 39)
The centurion is asked by Pilate if he (Jesus) had been any while dead, and confirms it. (Mark 15:44-45)
The centurion saw and said, Certainly this was a righteous man. (Luke 23: 47)
The concession between Matthew and Mark is that the Centurion said basically, ''Truly this man was the Son of God. ''
In Luke this man, Jesus, has a fidelity to the Torah.
THE SPEAR AND BROKEN LEGS
John 19:31-37 (Breaking Of The Legs/Jesus' Legs Not Broken/Piercing Spear/Fulfilling The Prophecy)
31: The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
32: Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.
33: But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
34: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
35: And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
36: For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
37: And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.
Anne Terri's Research: On prophecies fulfilled - Jesus' side being pierced: It is as written as pierced in Zechariah 12:10, but also in Isaiah 53:5, as part of the famous passage known as the suffering servant, it depends on where you read the translation. In the King James Version, of The Holy Bible, the word, 'pierces' becomes 'wounded'. In The New International Version, the word is 'pierced'. Jesus fits perfectly the Sacrifice of Passover, and they did not break his legs and made sure he was removed before morning. (Num 9:10-13)
Numbers 9:10-13: The Laws Of The Passover Sacrifice
10: Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey afar off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
11: The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
12: They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
13: But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbeareth to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
Zechariah 12:10 (Prophecy Fulfilled)
10: And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Isaiah 53:5 (New International Version)
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
SPIRITS AND SAINTS
Spirits rise of the Saints and appear to many. This is only written in Matthew. Was it the bodies or spirits of the saints? (Matthew 27: 52-53)
Matthew 27: 51-53 veil of the temple rent in twain ...earthquake ... graves opened ... saints arose ... after Jesus Resurrection
51: And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Psalms 69:21
21: They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
21: They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Anne Terri's Notes: In the Gospel of John, it is written that the legs are broken of the two men whom were Crucified next to Jesus, but not his. In addition, his side is pierced by a spear. This has not been written in Matthew, Mark, or Luke.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
SPIRITS AND SAINTS
Spirits rise of the Saints and appear to many. This is only written in Matthew. Was it the bodies or spirits of the saints? (Matthew 27: 52-53)
Matthew 27: 51-53 veil of the temple rent in twain ...earthquake ... graves opened ... saints arose ... after Jesus Resurrection
51: And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52: And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53: And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
