Aśvins (The Ashvins)
The Ashvins are the Twin horsemen of the Rig Veda. The names of the two twins are Nasatya and Dasra.Nasatya is kind Nāsatyas, is mentioned in RIGVEDA - BOOK 8-*HYMN IX. Aśvins.RIGVEDA - BOOK 8- HYMN IX. They travel together in a gold chariot, bringing to men their treasures. Gifts to give the humans so they will not get sick or have bad times. Because of this, they are considered as doctors to the gods of the Rig Veda.
